MacWorld Expo NY 2000 - No Broadcast?
tick42 writes "I do not know if this is new news or not, but I just recieved an email from Apple regarding satellite broadcasts of Macworld NY.
"We're not planning on doing that this year, Steve Job's decision.
Sorry."
Apparently, Steve Jobs does not want any satellite broadcasts of any his Keynotes. Only the rich and lucky who are blessed enough to sit in his presence are allowed to hear what he has to say, when he says it. What about the rest of us? Maybe if we all yell loud enough, Uncle Steve might change his mind. "
First I've heard of this. WWDC was not publically broadcast, but the assumption there was that it wasn't indended for general consumers. Not broadcasting MacWorld Expo's keynote, though? If there's a webcast, I think we can forgive them.
