Too pricey for chinese made stuff
Probably 2/3 of everything you own is "Chinese made stuff" -- including whatever device you just typed that on.

I've had good luck with Satechi products.

People like to complain about the quality of Chinese products, but then turn around and complain when a Chinese company selling good quality products doesn't sell them for dirt cheap. You can't expect to have it both ways. Personally, I would like to see less crap and more quality coming from there - for many reasons.

My main gripe with Chinese goods is the willingness to copy/paste the work of others minus the R&D costs. Obviously there are some companies that do this more than others and give the whole market a bad name.
I'm 100% with you on that. Too often it's like the Wild West over there - anything goes. And while their government now is starting to at least say the right things along those lines, for a long time it's sure seemed like behaving that way was basically sanctioned - and maybe even encouraged - by the people in power.

You can't expect to have it both ways. Personally, I would like to see less crap and more quality coming from there - for many reasons.
My main issue with some Chinese built products isn’t even the weak quality for the inexpensive items. I’ve bought many things made in my home country (USA) that have been inexpensive, but that also came with poor quality. You almost always get what you pay for.
