This appears to be wired only while the (older) G4 and (newer) G410 offer a wireless solution with AA batteries. What else is different, I have no clue yet but they really need to make a POE version. I’ve had an awful experience with the connectivity of the G4 even with following the guidelines.
When looking at high-end doorbells to give me everything that I want it would also be nice if it had a dedicated downward-looking package camera that at least one competitor (Eufy) offers.

I'm trying to figure out "just announced", as I've had the G410 for over a month now (replacing a Logitech Circle View that was inconsistent at best, and finally refused to reset). The news release on the Aqara site is dated July 10th. The only real complaint on the G410 is that it's quite large (because the optional battery power requires 6 AA batteries). I have it wired (replacing the original doorbell) because that way it will handle streaming video.
So far, I'm not unhappy with it. It supports Homekit Secure Video directly, and the field of view is significantly better than the Logitech. I have it connected to the 2.4GHz SSID (I have multiple SSIDs using Firewalla APs) and the connection has been MUCH more solid than the Logitech. So far the wifi connection has not dropped once (a common occurrence with the Logitech), and the responsiveness when accessing through the Home app (on my phone or my MBP) has been significantly faster.
I'm attaching an example of the field of view from this morning.
Note that this is still wireless networking only (supporting both 2.4 and 5GHz bands). And, unlike the Logitech, it will not ring the original wired doorbell chime - it will ring the included chime (which also acts as a Matter hub), and if you're using Homekit you can also have it chime through any (or all) of your Homepods. The responsiveness of the chime has been fine.

The actual news release is below - I'm wondering if "G400" is the generic model number globally, while G410 is the specific model number for the US market.

Product details are here (including a better idea of why the thing is so large - look at the "Wired or Battery Power" picture).

It's not the same device. The G410 is named G410 globally. You can see in the picture it doesn't even look the same. And apparently, might also be only wired. Maybe it's basically the G410 with a new smaller design that can't take batteries. Hence why the number is smaller.

"It can be powered by a PoE cable or traditional low voltage power supply." (but still has a chime box...?)
