3dfx will be acquiring GigaPixel Corp. who "specializes in the design, development and licensing of 3D core technology".

xlr8yourmac posted some notes from a 3dfx/Gigapixel conference call. No real indication how this affects Mac products. Of note, they mention that one goal is to beat the Microsoft's X-Box in graphics performance 6 months before it's release.
