OS X Installer Problem...
Stepwise has an article about a potential problem with Apple's current installer... due to the way it recognizes (or not) permissions and aliases... it can potentially cause some problems.
Unfortunately Receipts don't seem to be working correctly in this incarnation of the installer... (these are small packages that allow you to "uninstall" apps cleanly/easily.
