Doom 3 in 2004?

This Bluesnews article indicates that Doom 3 is not expected until Jan-March 2004.

Specs were recently posted indicating that the minimum requirements for Doom 3 would include a 1 GHz CPU, 256MB RAM, and a GeForce1 or Radeon 7xxx series video card.

These specs are presumably PC specs, and Mac specs may be significantly different.
