Apple's Laptop Marketshare Up 2 Percentage Points

ThinkSecret reports that Apple's Q2 marketshare for laptops increased almost 2 percentage points over the previous quarter (5.1% to 7%), moving Apple up to 5th place (from 6th) in laptop sales rankings in the U.S.

Even as compared to last year's 2nd Quarter (5.9%), Apple seems to have made significant gains (in laptops), moving up over 1 Percentage point.

ThinkSecret reports that Apple executives are "ecstatic" with these results.
