Is there anything like this deal available in the UK?
It seems US-based retailers frequently offer deals that aren’t replicated by shops on the majority of the planet. (Either that, or MacRumors doesn’t post about them?)
Quite. That 2018 iPad price is pretty amazing. We could do with a similar reduction here too.

Picked up one for $229.

That Slickdeals thread about the $229 is MASSIVE! Jeez! Everyone is trying to get one.

So, $329 regular price down to $229...instant buy for a 2018 iPad!

That was just an amazing price - got the 12.9 inch. The regular iPad price is crazy low too. Hopefully sales are not falling off a cliff to make these happen (do not want the iPad to go away) - but with the big phones it's become much less necessary to pull an iPad out to see stuff.
nice work - it was a great deal, even if you have to buy the pencil on top.

Yesterday B&H had the 12.9" iPad Pro (Mid 2017, 64GB, Wi-Fi + 4G LTE, Space Gray) on sale for $599 (it's now $649).
That was just an amazing price - got the 12.9 inch. Can see the prices being really low on the last gen iPad Pro's to clear inventory, but the regular iPad price is crazy low too. Hopefully sales are not falling off a cliff to make these happen (do not want the iPad to go away) - but with the big phones it's become much less necessary to pull an iPad out to see stuff.
