Apple's Website Redesigned With New Drop-Down Menu Bars and More

Apple today redesigned its website on both desktop and mobile devices. The changes make it easier to find individual product pages and other helpful links.

Apple Website Drop Down Menus
On the desktop, there are new drop-down menus that appear when you hover over the categories in the top menu bar, including Store, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Watch, AirPods, TV & Home, Entertainment, Accessories, Support, Search, and Bag. The new Entertainment category replaces "Only on Apple" and continues to highlight Apple's services.

On mobile devices, an all-in-one drop-down menu is now located on the right side of the top menu bar. When you tap on a category in the menu, a submenu opens with individual product pages and other helpful links, similar to the desktop experience.

All in all, these changes make navigating Apple's website more convenient and surface helpful resources that some customers might not have been aware of.

🥰 Pleasing to the eye. Never fails to impress. I miss the old Apple website in 2008. Simpler times!

Website redesign… what about a new iOS beta or release?
Alas, Apple only has one intern doing all the coding for everything, so they had to have him work this weekend with a Red Bull drip to get this done. Once he recovers he'll be able to get your iOS beta done.

never surpasses its peak in 2011 era.

Losing both SJ and Scott Forstall is the most unfortunate thing to Apple

Hear hear. I'm tired of the borderless dark mode fad. Worst interface fad since flat design. Everything blends together and requires minute additional thought/processing than before, which gets tiring after a while.

I'll never understand why it's a apparently an embarrassment to show a little additional detail to help differentiate actionable items vs. info items vs. background.
