- Saturated market
- Demand is low
- Economy - even the rep at the Apple Store told me no one really needs this.
- That 2019, 2018, 2017 MacBook Pro is still more than capable to edit video and photos, web browsing, email, listen music, watch videos

For me it’s not the price but the product that just doesn’t work because of the display which causes eye strain and headaches.
It's the price for me. I am on an intel machine and I want Apple Silicon, but the price of these is outlandish. I'd even buy a discounted M1 at 1500.

I wonder how tablet sales are doing because that’s what a lot of older folks seem to prefer.
Probably at least a 25% decline.

Luca Maestri said Apple was expecting double digit declines for the quarter during their last earnings call.

For Mac and iPad, we expect revenue for both product categories to decline double digits year-over-year because of challenging compares and macroeconomic headwinds.

Going to need bigger discounts to make up for the slow/declinging sales ('https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/mac-sales-fall-by-40.2386414/')
They got hit harder than the others but I don’t think they care. I wonder how tablet sales are doing because that’s what a lot of older folks seem to prefer.
