Apple Watch SE

Starting with the Apple Watch SE, Amazon has the 40mm GPS model for just $199.99 in select colors, down from $249.00. The 44mm GPS model is available for $229.99, down from $279.00. These are now the best prices we've ever seen on both versions of the second-generation Apple Watch SE.

Apple Watch Series 8

For the main Apple Watch Series 8 models, prices start at $279.99 for 41mm GPS and rise to $309.99 for 45mm GPS. Similar to the SE devices, this is the first time we've ever seen these watches go this low, and they're available in multiple colors.

I never used the cellular function on my series 4, so I opted not to get it with the SE I just received. I can't think of many scenarios where I wouldn't have my phone on me.
I had the cellular version for a while too and ended up going back to the regular model. If I don't have my phone, I want to be disconnected.

I ended up talking to an Amazon support supervisor, who refunded me the original cost plus tax, and then added a $50 gift card so I could buy it again at the current price, which I did, and it arrived the same day.

However, that rep said the Applecare I bought for the original watch would be attached to the new watch I'd buy, but that turned out not to be the case. I had to sit through another hour of customer service to get the $15 difference between the Prime Day Applecare cost and the current AppleCare cost.

I don't know why the Applecare cost was different. I didn't notice it advertised as on sale for Prime Day, but it was $64 on prime day and $79 now.

Yes, but no. I got mine but shipping never showed as delivered. I can’t tell Amazon I actually received it. I could cancel the order, but I’m not that dishonest.

I recently had a Chinese-shipped order say delivered and it never showed up ($9 order). Refunded and reordered from another supplier and got it in two days.

From what I could tell, $309 was a damn good price to pay for a 45mm series 8 GPS.

I'm still rocking a Series 3, so this is a very tempting deal. However, my Series 3 is stainless steel, so I'm not sure how I feel about going back to an aluminum model. But for the price, I'm tempted. The Series 3 is getting close to unusable these days.
