Amazon is kicking off the new year with an all-time low price on Apple's AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C, available for $189.99, down from $249.00. There's an estimated delivery date of January 7 for most residences in the United States.

We haven't tracked an all-time low price on this model of the AirPods Pro 2 since around early December. This is largely the same model as the AirPods Pro 2 from 2022, with the addition of a USB-C port on the MagSafe Charging Case, instead of Lightning.

A few other noteworthy AirPods deals include the AirPods 3 for $149.99, down from $169.00, and the AirPods 2 for $99.00, down from $129.00. Stock on the AirPods 3 has begun to dwindle with delivery into mid January, but the AirPods 2 has the same estimates as the AirPods Pro 2.

I've had the gen 1 and gen 2 and these headphones are an amazing piece of technology. If you want some great headphones with amazing noise cancelling and transparency mode, these are it. And the Apple/Mac integration is phenomenal. Worth every bit of $190.

I would totally buy these but my Airpods Pro 2 with lightning are fine, and I charge them on my wireless charger. I loooove my Airpods Pro, so good. I'll wait until they die then go for the Airpods Pro 3 with USB-C. I think my Airpods Pro 2 are literally my only device left with Lightning. I walked to the Apple store, surrendered my Apple TV remote with lightning, and spent $80 to buy the exact same remote with USB-C, just to not have to deal with Lightning ever again.

I love my AirPods Pro 2 for the convenience and the software features but it’s a little frustrating that you can get VASTLY superior sound quality from wired earbuds that cost less than $10. The world of earphones, headphones and earbuds - wireless and otherwise - is huge, highly competitive and filled with dozens of examples that put the entire AirPods line to shame.

I really wish AirPods Pro were actual high end phones. At the prices Apple charges for them the audio quality just isn’t up to snuff.

I wish Apple would sell the case separately like they did with AirPods gen 2.
They do: $99. In the Apple online store, look up MagSafe Charging Case (USB-C) for AirPods Pro (2nd generation).
