Amazon today has Apple's fifth generation 64GB Wi-Fi iPad Air for $449.00, down from $599.00. This is a match of the record low price on the tablet, and it's available in all colors except Starlight, with delivery as soon as this Friday, April 5.

The last time we tracked this deal it was at Best Buy, but right now Amazon is beating Best Buy's deal on the same tablet by about $50. There are quite a few $100 markdowns on other fifth generation M1 iPad Air models, but none are matching all-time low prices like the 64GB Wi-Fi model.

Not a bad device, but if you’re just now thinking about buying your first one, hold off, spend another $150 and get at least 2 more years out of the next one.

This is a great deal... M1 iPad Air is awesome... for vast majority of consumers.

If I hadn't bought my iPad Air 4, I think this would be for me.

It's not a record low. I got one at BJs Wholesale Club for $399 last week. I'm sorry you dont have an affiliate link for BJs.

The next one might increase in price though. At $200 more instead of $150 the trade-off isn’t that clear anymore.
Back to school sale coming too in a couple of months (depending upon what country you're in). If you qualify for the sale, then it may be worth waiting. And in some countries, even if you don't technically qualify, you can still take advantage of the sale.
