Since there was so much to take in at yesterday's WWDC keynote event, we thought we'd revisit iOS 18 and highlight some of the most exciting features that Apple introduced.

Note that we've left out Apple Intelligence, which is what Apple is calling the AI features that it plans to add. ‌Apple Intelligence‌ will be limited to Apple's newest iPhones, but the features we've listed will be available on older iPhones, too.

Wow. This update promises to give a lot of extra features that I always wanted on my iPad. Time to upgrade to a M2 or M3 iPad soon. I’ll wait a bit to find out how robust these features are though before I drop 1000 bucks on a new iPad. But I can see why the stock price went up.

This is easily the best iOS update of all-time, features wise. Not only is it adding a ton of new stuff, it’s fixing the everyday stuff like “screenshots in my photos”, my mom not knowing where her password is, easy cash payments, RCS…..let me repeat that….RCS. The list is really too long this year. Slow clap 👏 for Apple.

Mind you, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s buggy for a month or two, and neither should you. This is not an optimization update. As long as you have realistic expectations, it’s going to be a great update. Here’s hoping Apple nails it out of the gate.

Hopefully iOS18 has fixed the bug where you pull your phone out of your pocket and the lock screen is an edit mode because you long pressed on it, it would be nice to have a separate edit button to activate that or only edit within the settings app. :rolleyes:
