These New Games Were Added to Apple Arcade Today

Three more games were added to Apple Arcade today, including new NFL and Jeopardy! titles.

Apple Arcade NFL Retro 26
Just in time for the start of the upcoming NFL season today, NFL Retro Bowl '26 features authentic NFL players and rosters with retro styling. In this year's version of the game, there is a new Retro Bowl Championship Leaderboard that tasks players with competing against each other in weekly matchups, in line with the NFL schedule.

Jeopardy! Daily brings a version of the beloved quiz show to Apple Arcade across the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro.

Apple Arcade Jeopardy
The third game added to Apple Arcade today is My Talking Tom Friends+, which lets kids care for virtual pets and more.

Apple Arcade is a subscription service that provides access to hundreds of games across the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro. All of the games are free of ads and in-app purchases. In the U.S., Apple Arcade costs $6.99 per month, and it is also bundled with other Apple services in all Apple One plans.

Apple Arcade can be accessed through the App Store, and in the new Apple Games app.

I can't help but feeling that Apple Arcade isn't something Apple is taking seriously. Tried the free trial and the games that's released is just miles from what you get with PS+ or Microsoft game consoles.
Maybe there's some cool HW around the and Apple has a plan for it all, but 6.99 a month for whats offered today is a bit much for the games that's included.

Maybe they should include it for free when people buy other services such as extra icloud space or with Apple Music.

When the top downloaded (or most popular) title in Arcade for the last like 2 years is Solitaire then I have to believe you are right. I get it with Apple One but besides the aforementioned solitaire game and an occasional hill climb, there’s little of interest to me. Wish that’d change but might also just be me getting older and finding mobile gaming to be nothing more than a time killer before a dentist appt.

How about a game that’s made for an adult and not a 5 year old for a change?

Apple I know you love retro, so where are the MUD’s? Bring me some Multi-user Dungeon Text based gaming!

So, ignoring how badly Apple Arcade is limping along, do Americans still think Jeopardy is a clever concept? It seems silly to me that you just add a "who is.../what is..." in front of your answer and all of a sudden you're meant to believe it's completely unique and not lame. I guess you could say it's quite fitting for Apple Arcade.
It's a gameshow.
They all have gimmicks, big spinning wheel? guessing how much stuff costs? Are any of them clever? They're designed to appeal to exactly the sort of people who'd spend their time watching game shows on tv, and those people probably do think it's clever/entertaining.
