This is the best, most powerful M5 processor that Apple has ever released. It is truly the most complete fulfillment of Steve Jobs' vision for Apple processors. Apple can't wait to see the incredible things customers are able to do. Apple thinks you're gonna love them. Stay tuned for more surprises from the greatest pipeline ever....

No new Apple TV though, or HomePod… Maybe these are for tomorrow?

The fact that Apple isn’t allowing trade ins for M2 AVP really is concerning. It gives a message that not even Apple wants the device back. I get the feeling that Apple was forced to update AVP as 5nm chips such as M2 are winding down. Apple really needs to drop cash to get devs into the space. Looking at AVP App Store and it’s a sad state of affairs.

M5 iPad Pro feels like M4 v2 and that’s fine. It’s a really solid device.

New M5 MBP, that’s great. Gone are the days of Intel where we had to wait many years for new hardware.

Kind of hoping Apple holds back AppleTV and HomePod till next year and does a super Siri/Homekit event where they also announce their camera and screen HomePod.

I get the feeling we’ll see the tv and HomePod mini tomorrow though. Again, two devices that need to get away from 5nm but do they really need updates? It’d be nice to see Apple justify the new appletv by using AV1 decoder for near 4k Blu-ray movie streaming. AVS enthusiasts would go nuts. It’d put Kaleidascape and their $5k-$100k streaming boxes out of business. Otherwise it’s already fast enough.

It is pathetic that in 2025 a so called MacBook "Pro" comes with 512GB internal they should come at least with 1TB as a based model.

Macbook with M5, M4 Pro and M4 Max. And the Studio with M4 Max and M3 Ultra. Really weird.
