Right!? iPad and Fire HD don't belong in the same conversation.

I am eager to see the $400 Amazon tablet next year.
It will have real Android and should be able to compete with Samsung tablets in the same price range. For me, Android stomps all over iPad OS.
Then again, I live inside the Google ecosystem.

Andriod doesn’t stomp over ipadOS.

Andriod has nowhere as good multitasking as ipad A16, software support and hardware support on tablets and best of all its cheaper the andriod competition to even get close to ipad hardware.
I do not multitask. I also said "for me." The word is Android.
iPad OS is more complicated "for me" than Android, including predictive text and file management.
I am low vision and multiple screens/multitasking are a no-no.
My Samsung does not have a biometric sensor.
Funny, some of the current Amazon tablets do, as I recall.
My first 2 tablets were Amazon and were a great value for $100-$150 in cost.

Still not as good of a value as the Fire HD.
