Recently, the security settings of MacRumors' forums have been increased. As a result, users must have activated their accounts by verifying their email addresses to have permission to post replies or new posts. This is accomplished by following the link in your activation email that you receive shortly after registering.
Previously, unverified users were able to reply to existing messages. So, many users may have noticed a recent inability to reply to messages when this change was made.
Activation emails have been resent to those with unverified accounts. Alternatively, you can use this url to request your activation email.
Note: if you change your email address, you must reactivate your account.
