I can't stress how much I hate all this AI ‘features’ being shoved down our throats. I can't even start to explain how annoying, distracting, confusing, and disrupting they are for my working purposes. Ever since Snow Leopard, every update means wasting hours, if not days, trying to figure out how to turn all kinds of unwanted crap off.

I've been loyal to Apple since 1995, but I'd walk away right now if there only was a decent alternative. Apple is not the best computing choice anymore. At the very most, it is the least crappy.

Actually there is. Android has improved greatly over the last few years.

The difference between it and iOS is quite close. I’ve used both platforms for years, you might find Android to be a refreshing alternative.
My comment was actually about macOS, but I just realized I posted it on the iOS thread 🙈

I wouldn't say it's a bad thing, but back in the iPhone 6 days, I knew all the phone's features and simply used it. I even remembered the differences between each version of iOS. Now, the device is starting to feel complicated. Perhaps some features—the ones that statistics show no one uses or that turned out to be unsuccessful—should be removed from future versions of iOS.
