Major build milestones are said to include a build by early July which will include some fixes for Airport, UI, API, and Developer Tools issues. A following build in August will be feature-complete, adding minor features and adjustments. MacScoop believes that the build handed to developers at WWDC was only mostly feature complete, and that Apple may still polish the user interface, including the menu bar and Dock.
Final Candidate stages are said to arrive in early September, with 4-6 weeks of testing until the Gold Master is certified, with a release in late October.
Last year, Apple launched CarPlay Ultra, the long-awaited next-generation version of its CarPlay software system for vehicles. Nearly a year later, CarPlay Ultra is still limited to Aston Martin's latest luxury vehicles, but that should change fairly soon.
