Compare Actual Size Apple Watch Models in Apple Store App

After today's "Spring Forward" media event that included a slew of new information on the Apple Watch, Apple updated its Apple Store app for iOS with a featured Apple Watch section that lets users browse available models, see if their iPhone is compatible with the device, and learn more about each version of the Apple Watch

There are also life size images of the 38 and 42mm watch casings for users to hold up to their wrists, to help them better decide which watch is the best fit. When selecting a collection to view, there's a "Compare Case Sizes" feature that shows a full-size Apple Watch image.

Honestly I'm more worried about the thickness, has this been posted anywhere?
I saw from a hands-on video that the thickness is roughly the equivalent of an average sized index finger. Considering how much is stuffed into such a small package, I'm impressed.

I did not see anything on how they will retain resale value. I mean spending that kind of money that could potentially become obsolete in a year seem "off."

I was hoping to hear something on what they are going to do - especially if I were to invest $17k (which I am not).
Take a guess at how much that $17K watch will be worth 10 years from now if you never open the box!

What I don't get is, why don't they have a "virtual Apple Watch" in the app that you can play with?

This would be easy to implement and would let people get an awesome introduction to the Apple Watch before buying one.

You didn't see the page describing how your watch would retain 80% of it's value through 2025? Or the free upgrades Apple will give you if they make a new watch?

Just like all of the products in life, buyer beware.

If you mean a model to look at, go to any of the watch models and click on it, then click the "Explore" button next to the image. You can get a 360º view of it:

If you mean trying out the software, then yes, that would be pretty cool.

It seems that they put a lot of effort into this; you can even undo the clasp and change the watchfaces around.

That info would be helpful to make cardboard cutouts like we did with the iPhones. You know, so we can tape them on and get a feel for the size. I'm going to paint my mockup Gold to best simulate my buying options.
