Apple Seeds Fourth Beta of macOS Sierra 10.12.5 to Developers [Update: Public Beta Too]

Apple today seeded the fourth beta of an upcoming macOS Sierra 10.12.5 update to developers, one week after seeding the third beta and one month after releasing macOS Sierra 10.12.4, which introduced Night Shift for the Mac.

The fourth beta of macOS Sierra 10.12.5 can be downloaded through the Apple Developer Center or through the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store.

macOS 10
According to the release notes accompanying the beta, the update "improves the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac."

Apple's release notes don't often provide a lot of insight into what's included in new beta software, so we don't know what features or bug fixes might be included in the 10.12.5 update.

No notable changes or major bug fixes were discovered in the first three betas, but should anything pop up in the fourth macOS Sierra 10.12.5 beta, we'll update this post.

Update: Apple has also provided the fourth beta of macOS Sierra 10.12.5 to public beta testers.

Dear Apple, How do I remove the constantlyupdate-all-the-time PITA feature? Thanks.
By not applying for the beta programme.

Apt username, too.

Another suppressive release. They killed Handbrake. What next?
[LIST=1]
* It's a Beta. There are no 'releases' of macOS 10.12.5 yet.
* HandBrake works fine for me and apparently other people in the forum
* It's a Developers Preview and something tells me that you are not much of a developer if you feel you needed to throw a fit that an app is not working on your primary Mac (of which you shouldn't be installing this preview on)

EDIT: BTW you probably shouldn't try the public beta either

You obviously don't understand what Beta means. And if it angers you that third party software doesn't work, revert back to the public final release version available and NEVER install a Beta again. How do you think software developers release software? They get the Beta from Apple, then design their app to work with the OS. How would you expect a developer to develop software on an OS that they don't have access to? Get real.

Anyhow, it's obviously an isolated issue, as my Handbrake works just fine, and you're the ONLY one on here that's say it doesn't work. Every other post says it works fine.

If you can't live without ANY single app working on your computer, DO NOT INSTALL BETAS.

And why is that?
Sierra was one hell of a stable OS when released, the next one might be the same or better.

If you relied on Preview for viewing/annotating PDFs, Sierra was the most UNUSABLE OS release from Apple in a long long time.
