You Can Now Check iPhone X Availability at Apple Stores With Limited Same Day In-Store Pickup

I want to thank my fellow MR friends to let us know about this. NO MORE PREORDERING...geez.
I manually bumped my pre-order 11/24 to NOW>

How unethical that the black 256 gig ATT is available in stores right now (on the other side of the country), and I my order was processed 8 minutes after it went on sale and I still have to wait another 2 weeks. They should just send them to those who have been waiting.

I'm going to go out and say it. This pisses me off. After all the BS I went through at 3 AM trying to get the phone on launch day, to end up with a December delivery date, and then to have stock available for WALK IN orders before I even get my 3 AM pre-order.

That is just a complete slap in the face to the most loyal customers. It's not even really worth it for me to do anything, because I know I will end up in AT&T limbo.

Just did this this morning for my wife.

Got up at 7 am MST and bought an iPhone X and checked for store pickup. Available. Picked it up when they opened at 10 am MST.

I ordered one at 6AM on October 27 and it originally listed the third week of December. After launch I got an email letting me know it improved to the first week of November. After reading this article I checked my local stores and one was available at the Palo Alto Stanford store.

I canceled my online order and placed a pick up order. When I arrived to pick it up there were around 15 people in the "no reservation" line. I was in and out in 10 minutes.

Apple's website now lists iPhone X availability at its retail stores in the United States and several other countries around the world.

Why doesn’t Apple deal with all the pre orders that haven’t got to customers yet and already paid for before someone who can just go in and pick one up today... the point of a pre order is you should get it first and I still don’t have mine
