So far, all these AppleTV+ shows sound really boring to me. I really hope they come up with something more worthwhile.

It seems like Apple is trying to produce content that would play in the waiting room of purgatory, preferably muted.

Kind of looks like something from one of those SNL stills that they use when exiting to or returning from a commercial.

Show premise: Joseph Gordon Levitt and G. Gordon Liddy transmogrify in twin transporters teleporting television transmissions. The resulting character, originally named G. Joseph Gordon Levitt Liddy is an elementary school teacher grappling with the sudden loss of hair on his head and a massive mustache attached to his face. Character's name changed to Corman because G. Joseph Gordon Levitt Liddy wouldn't fit on the nameplate outside the classroom.

Well, you'd all be laughing if I had enough skill with Photoshop to remove Levitt's hair and put Liddy's bald head and mustache on Levitt's face. Dammit! Where's @AngerDanger when you need him.

All these AppleTV shows are sounding very bland and safe. Spielbergs time has passed, the original Amazing Stories was ordinary.
