This looks really fun! I can already predict almost the entire storyline but that doesn't matter as it's not the destination that matters, it's the journey along the way. Will definitely be checking this out, I'm sure my wife will love it too.

What happened to the apple tv series See about blind tribe? Have not watched apple tv in ages even if it free
You should check the new shows out - good stuff. See is shooting its second season - will be coming out November if coronavirus doesn't delay it too much. I can't wait for Season 2 and beyond - that show is lit.

They're really shooting themselves in the foot this way. At least make comments available for shows. People get the word out and make buzz about shows and movies that way!
I disagree. Apple is likely smart to do this. The amount of Apple haters out there is insane. That comments section would have to be moderated intensely - if the forums/message boards elsewhere on the internet are any indication.

I just finished watching this and my wife and I absolutely loved it. It felt really genuine and we laughed a lot and cried a little. We’ve only watched two shows on AppleTV so far, this and For All Mankind and have been really impressed by both. Really top quality content.

3 thoughts:

* This show looks like it was perhaps partially inspired by Catastrophe, an absolutely brilliant American/British hybrid comedy on Amazon. If it is half as good as that series then we‘re in luck.
* Apple doesn’t seem to have found its groove with trailers. I was not super excited by the trailers for most of their opening slate, but was pleasantly surprised buy a few of them once I watched the actual shows. I’m a filmmaker, but I have no expertise at all in trailers, so I am just spit bawling this. But it seems to me that the trailers are cut in an odd way. Some shots seem to linger too long, and the pacing seems strangely deliberate. I hope that they’re able to create more compelling trailers moving forward.
* I’m curious if Apple has created some uniform dictate across all of it’s shows that they need to be shot in 4K or 8K with an eye towards being almost hyper-realistic, with revealing lighting, fewer shadows, and without film grain or other stylized “looks”. In a way, many of the productions look like they could be ads for a camera they are so clear and detailed. Anyone else notice this?

Well, it seems a trend these days. Maybe moving away from film heritage? Some Netflix shows have extremely clear "video" image, particularly Asian ones.
