$50 is a very reasonable price for this camera

I currently have a Google Nest camera which I’m paying an annual fee for so this would be better to switch to this camera and go all Apple/HomeKit

Agreed. These are going to cause some ripples in the industry if they work even reasonably well.

What features work locally and do NOT require monthly/yearly subscriptions? Canary pulled features promised and offered when their devices were purchased, only to then require subscription payments to get those features back.

NO INTEREST IN SUBSCRIPTION MONEY GRABS!

If these also offer HomeKit Secure Video and for some reason don’t require a hub I’m in.

That’s The first contingency I consider when buying any electronic product, is in terms of quality build construction from the manufacturer, Anker always delivers on all their products. So moving forward, I think that would be something I wouldn’t be concerned with them, I just don’t like the fact that there are ‘subscription service fees’ with these types of products.
