Indies are awesome and people that love indies appreciate Apple Arcade a lot. To me, they’re better than AAA games to be quite honest.

Apple Arcade will really take off if (1) They get a "must play" game that convinces people to subscribe and/or (2) some well-known games decide to re-release under the arcade environment. I for one love the idea of no ads and no in-app purchases. But my wife and kids are looking for things like bejeweled, mariokart, etc.

Completely agree. Olde Theme Park, Full Throttle, Monkey Island, they'd be great!
you can already buy 'full throttle' at a premium cost of $4.99 (which i own, of course)...i think premium games and Apple Arcade can exist cohesively. Since Apple Arcade has launched, devs have still been releasing games on their own (Kingdom: Two Crowns, Little Misfortune, Pascal's Wager, Summer Catchers, Forgotton Anne, The House of Da Vinci 2, Bad North, Dear Esther, Hyper Light Drifter and Dead Cells to name a few. I'm glad that i can still purchase games to own, but i'm also glad Apple Arcade is backing indie devs to make games that might never exist without their support; and of course, got devs to bring their ideas to the platform as mobile exclusive.

Sneaky Sasquatch, ATONE: Heart of the Elder Tree (absolutely brilliant), INMOST, Sayanara Wild Hearts, Shantae and the Seven Sirens, Tangle Tower, Oceanhorn 2, NeoCab, Over the Alps, Shinsekai: Into the Depths (masterpiece), etc. - these are just some of my favorites, but there's a ridiculous amount of variety and there is a quality/polish to each game that's been lacking in some previous IOS premium games.

And the games that keep coming and expected to come continue to justify this solid subscription service.
