According to Apple's release notes, the watchOS 6.2.6 update includes unspecified security fixes and should be installed by all Apple Watch owners with a compatible model.

Very smooth, this baby is running great! Loving 6.2.6 so far. Thank you, Apple!
After ten minutes! 🤣 Hilariously delirious!
Also, you jumped off the developer beta to install a public release? Interesting.

It might be placebo, but my app layout screen looks a lot more smushed since installing this update. Almost like I have a 38mm layout on my 42mm watch.

EDIT: After a restart it's showing up normally again. :)
