"Amazon Prime Day is now in its final Day." Seems like Amazon needs to rename it/them.

I am staying away from the "Smart Home" stuff. Everything is WI-FI dependable with some of them requiring subscription. ..is just too much
The Lutron caseta stuff is pretty great with no subscription cost. Uses its own frequency, works every time and integrates into home kit, Alexa, etc. Downside is that it needs to replace your light switches. Worth looking into if you are anti wifi clutter.

Amazon needs to rename this to "Amazon BS Day". Unless it's an Amazon-labeled product there haven't been much in the way of deals. Just over-hyped BS.

Meanwhile, it looks like the interns are running marketing for Target and BestBuy. Deal Day? Early Black Friday? Can you get more unimaginative than that?

It's all stuff that either didn't sell well at its original price point, is clearance, or a lesser known brand. There are gems in there, but you have to be flexable about what you are willing to accept. I use Prime Day to get things household products, cables, and things I will end up getting anyway. I have a wishlist full of items that didn't get a discount because they don't need a discount to sell them. I am surprised you didn't find any non-OEM ink though. I saw a ton of it on sale.
The problem with non-OEM ink is that my printer (Canon) is very finicky with it. Unless it's Canon's ink it won't show the ink levels which is extremely important and often it won't even recognize them.
