Apple Shares 'Full Bloom' Shot on iPhone 12 Video Featuring Flowers

Apple today shared a new video in its ongoing "Shot on iPhone 12 - Everyday Experiments" series, which features unique photography tutorials and ideas for iPhone users, along with impressive visuals.

"Full Bloom," as the name suggests, features flowers, and Apple says that it's meant to "celebrate spring's colors, life, and growth with the iPhone 12."

As with other "Everyday Experiments" videos, "Full Bloom" shows off various iPhone 12 camera capabilities, including time-lapse and slo-mo, and it explains the techniques that are being used.

The video features photographs of fruit and vegetables, water, pressed flowers, succulents, mushrooms, flowers colored with a highlighter to give blooms a fluorescent glow, and more.

You can still immediately see it's from smartphone camera 😒
Only those that have shot with pro cams can see the difference between iPhone and pro cams. 99% of viewing public would never know the difference and that is the only audience that matters (unless you're gunning for a cinematographic technical achievement award).

As a professional filmmaker, I love this. Of course larger format cameras will have more detail and depth of field, but these shots (using the stock device lenses) are amazing.

What is possible in your pocket in regards to generating content is now getting so powerful that I have created a startup focused on applying pro knowledge in this area - bild.film ('https://bild.film')

Rather than scoffing at the mobile filmmaking idea, I think it completely empowers new filmmakers and content creators. Really exciting times indeed.
