The PowerBeats Pro suffered from this problem where if you aren't very deliberate when you put them back in the case, the next time you take them out to use them one or both might be dead because they didn't make connection in the case.

Has anybody heard of that happening with these?
So far no problems like that. The magnetic pull in the case seems to help ensure they're seated properly, and I haven't thought about it much.

I just came home from picking up mine (Norway). I haven't even had the time to open them up yet.
So, as it was first released in the US in November, I guess there are plenty of experiences with these earbuds already.
What's your impression of these compared to the APPs? I'm thinking fit, sound quality, ANC and microphone quality.
Also, are the ear tips about the same size as the APPs? So that if medium size fits with my APPs, I'll likely use the medium tips with the Beat fit pros as well?
Any other "first things to do" to keep in mind?
After trying variants of Jabra, the Sony WF1000MX4's, and Apple's Air Pod Pros, I can say I've been happiest with the Beats Fit Pro, in terms of compatibility (with of course Apple products but also an Amazon tablet), and fit (the wingtips). The main issue I had especially with the Air Pod Pros (and also Jabra and Sony) are they just kept falling out. The wingtips solve that, and I don't need to push them in hard anymore, even for use on the treadmill. That is important enough to me for me to possibly skip the Air Pod Pro 2 when they come out. On a side note, I have used a non-wireless variant of Bose earbuds which were wingtip-style, and I'm assuming their actual wireless earbuds are similar. Those wingtips may have been a little better/sure-fitting, but, no direct experience there, and, I think those earbuds probably stick out too much from what I've seen (Sony's does too). Size-wise, medium is the best fit for me both with the airpod pros and these beats fit pro. I think that sizing consistency carries over to Jabra and Sony as well. Medium has always been the best fit for me. I'm not particularly an audiophile, so I don't think I'm a very good judge of the noise cancelling, but I hear fine on the treadmill when the Amazon tablet can only raise the volume so much for certain videos. I guess the main thing I'd have liked additionally is some way to control the volume, especially when using just one earbud... but none of the other brands get that right.

Got these for Christmas and love them. My ears must have a weird shape because I have a lot of problems with earbuds fitting. Only ding on them is the case REALLY should support Qi charging.

Honest question though.
With the Studio Buds getting iCloud pairing, what is the justification for this one's price now?
My understanding is the fit and sound quality — these fit more people due to the small wingtip, and all the reviews I have seen say these are better sounding than the current AirPods Pro, and the Studios sound worse than the AirPods Pro. Also, these have Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking and the Studios do not.
