Apple Releases iOS 17.1.2 With Security Fixes

Apple today released iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2, small updates to the iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 operating systems that Apple introduced in September. iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2 come a few weeks after the release of iOS 17.1.1, another bug fix update.

There will always be people working to exploit the os.

Why wouldn’t you want those exploits patched?
I’ll never understand people who complain about updates. Apple even includes an option to install overnight so you are not even inconvenienced with the install.

I was a little surprised they gave this to us with 17.2 on the horizon literally 10 days away
I am not, nor should anyone else be, especially if they read the notes for the release. This addresses to currently active exploits in the wild, and basically nothing else. If you're looking for any other fixes, you need to wait, as this release will not have them.

Well, I had an annoying bug which seems to be fixed:

when open the search (slide down) the keyboard wasn't shown lots of times.

This seems to be fixed now.
