macOS Sequoia has a fun new Macintosh dynamic wallpaper and screensaver combination that highlights classic Mac icons. Basic Apple Guy shared some high resolution screenshots of the new wallpaper, which can be used on other Apple devices.
On device, the Macintosh wallpaper animates and shifts through different retro graphics, with color options that include Spectrum, Accent, Blue, Red, Purple, Yellow, Dark Gray, Gray, Green, Orange, and Random.
Macintosh isn't the only new macOS Sequoia wallpaper, with Apple also adding "Helios," which is featured in macOS Sequoia marketing materials and Apple images. Helios animates with a gradient design.
To see the wallpapers in their full glory, macOS Sequoia is required. The operating system update is available to developers right now, with a public release scheduled for the fall.

Update — 10 a.m. Pacific Time: Apple has released iOS 27.
During its iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo event last week, Apple announced that iOS 27 will be released widely on Monday, September 14.
iOS 27 should be available around 10 a.m. Pacific Time / 1 p.m. Eastern Time today via the Settings app, under General → Software Update.

Apple today announced a new subscription initiative that turns paid iCloud+ subscriptions into a broader services bundle in more than 100 countries.
In select countries, Apple says every paid iCloud+ plan, including the cheapest 50GB tier, now includes Apple TV and Apple Arcade "at no additional cost," while family sharing extends the storage, TV and Arcade access to up to five people....
Man, I love that Apple is showing love for their vintage stuff and their heritage! This, the iPads and iPhones having their original wallpapers now as well, the iPods in their marketing, I love it.
Next step: retroOS… the ability to run the latest OS with the Aqua of 10.2 They already gave the Classic Mac stickers in Messages, they should also have a nod to the vintage wallpapers to remind people of the good ol days
