Amazon Introduces Big Discounts Across Entire M2/M3 MacBook Air Lineup With Up to $250 Off

Amazon this week has a massive sale across the MacBook Air lineup, including both the M2 and M3 MacBook Air models. We tracked many of these deals from Best Buy last week, but Amazon's sales this week don't require any exclusive membership, and in some cases they're even beating the low prices from last week.

Starting with the M2 MacBook Air, Amazon is offering up to $254 off these models, including a new all-time low price on the 512GB model. Prices start at $799.00 for the 256GB M2 MacBook Air in all colors, and increase to $944.16 for the 512GB MacBook Air in Midnight.

13-Inch M3 MacBook Air

For the newer models, Amazon is taking $249 off the 13-inch M3 MacBook Air with multiple all-time low prices. You can get the 256GB 13-inch M3 MacBook Air for $849.98 in every color, down from $1,099.00. Both 512GB models are on sale as well with best-ever prices.

15-Inch M3 MacBook Air

Finally, Amazon also has the 15-inch M3 MacBook Air for $249-$250 off every model. These start at $1,049.98 for the 256GB 15-inch M3 MacBook Air, down from $1,299.00, and again include both 512GB models. Overall, every 15-inch M3 MacBook Air deal from Amazon this week represents new all-time low prices on each model, beating the deals we saw just last week by about $50.

Sounds like they're priced closer to what they should be anyways. paying over a grand for 8gb of ram is crazy...but they'll all be replaced in a couple months anyway when m4 finally hits(which shoulda happened this summer)

Are you sure the Airs are getting the M4 this fall? I thought they weren't getting upgraded until next spring (2025).

That's a good price and I would get one of these over a 13" M2 iPad Pro which are on clearance at Best Buy for $899.

I have actually always wanted to buy a iPad Pro 13", but it's crazy expensive, and even more outrageous if you also want a keyboard (which is a must if you want it to replace a laptop). The Air on the other hand. is close to the perfect device. It can't hold a candle to the iPad Pros screen, but hands down beat it in anything else. The rational choice is pretty clear.
FYI I bought an Ipad Pro to replace my old Ipad Air a year ago.
Only got it because Target had an amazing promo ($650) that caused me to cancel my pending base ipad mail order and run to Target.

The verdict? For the price I suppose I'm happy, but I swear battery life is MUCH worse and honestly the screen is supposedly better but I just don't notice it. Yes blacks are blacker, but the regular ipad screen was already good and I would have been fine staying with that. The only noticeable thing really is the speakers are much better.

But the battery life is so bad I rarely output sound. I have a bunch of settings to maximize battery life which also affect performance (reduces some of the animations and such).

The base ipad is the absolute best buy in the entire Apple ecosystem (Mac Mini is a close second, especially if you already have KVM).

You get a device that does 98% of what their $1,000 phone does for a third the price.
Actually the base of any Apple device, as long as it works for you, is typically a very good deal.

Opinion: The market has spoken, these prices are more in line with what people are willing to pay for these machines.
I hope you are right, but my guess is it is just Apple unloading current models preparatory to releasing the next generation.
