This new deal beats the previous record low by about $50, and right now it's only available on Amazon. This version of the monitor launched back in June, and it retains many features of the previous model like USB-C charging connectivity, AirPlay 2 support, an integrated webcam, and several smart TV features that enable it to be used when not connected to a PC.

In terms of new features, the M80D includes a Multi Control feature that allows images and text to be moved between the display and a Galaxy Book, Tablet, or Phone. You can also pair Galaxy Buds to the monitor for a spatial audio experience with head tracking, as well as guided workouts when paired with a Galaxy Watch.

I just wouldn't be able to look at a Samsung logo every day. Sorry Sammy!
There's no Samsung logo on it.

I have two of these. They're good monitors, but the smart features are poor. If you just want good looking monitors and can ignore the smart features then they're good.

When you plug your computer into a 43" 4K TV that you paid less than $200 for, you realize that you'll never buy a "computer monitor" again.
This works for PCs and more casual use, but those TVs generally lack color accuracy and 4K at 43" is a far cry from the Retina I require anymore. I spent a lot of time in Excel with ThinkPad at my previous job, so a TV was perfect.

Sure, if you like looking at things through a screen door. 4K @ 43" gives you like 100 dpi. Great for a TV 10 feet away showing video content, not so hot on a screen 3 feet away showing text.

I mean, whatever floats your boat, more power to you -- but I don't think I'll "never buy a 'computer monitor' again".

140 pixels-per-inch (PPI). Hard Pass!

AOC's $199 U2790VQ 27" 4k@60Hz (connected via DisplayPort 1.2; also does HDMI but not 4k@60Hz) has 163 PPI and works great with my 12" MB, 14" M3 MBP and Studio Base Max. The Studio can run it at 3008x1692 @60 Hz quite nicely too.
