Apple Seeds Second Betas of visionOS 2.5, tvOS 18.5, and watchOS 11.5

Apple today provided developers with the second betas of upcoming visionOS 2.5, tvOS 18.5, and watchOS 11.5 updates for testing purposes. The software is available two weeks after Apple seeded the first betas.

General visionOS watchOS and tvOS Betas Feature
The betas are available to registered developers, and can be downloaded from the Settings app on each device.

With the first betas, no notable new features were found in any of the software updates, suggesting Apple is focusing on under-the-hood performance improvements and bug fixes.

random comment, that is one weird picture with everything out of scale, what the heck an Apple Remote is bigger than an AVP.

In other news, do love these beta updates. The progress in the last year on the AVP has been great.

Every media site is five minutes away from all the humans being fired and the slop taking over so a brunchlord can delay his next bankruptcy 10 more months

Yeah, this is giving an extreme low quality feel to the site. So many of their recent renders have been like this. There's light sources coming from thin air, everything is out of scale, that alpine loop that's placed in front of the Ultra is missing the titanium lugs? the sport band in the far back is the size of my head and seems to have an extra piece sticking out of the side of the band, and the lugs look weird on that too. The composition is also just... weird.

I don't think it's AI... but it feels so much like AI.

To Juli and the rest of the macrumors staff, it's okay to actually put time and effort into things. Stop throwing out this slop.

It's terrible AI visual garbage.
The graphic is not generated by AI, it's made by our staff manually. If you squint, the devices spell out the word beta, but perhaps it's too subtle. I still think it's clever :)

As I said, I don't think it's AI slop... it just looks like AI slop.

I agree with ATB... the fact that it looks this weird on purpose shows there's little care that goes into a presentable photo. This isn't the quality you want to be associated with. We live in a age with millions of fonts, and any single one of them would have been better than this mess.

There are artistic ways to photograph, and by extension, render a product to convey a point. This is not one of them.

Somehow that makes it even worse. That time and care went into making the devices look unsettlingly unreal and janky.

An artisanal turd lmao
