New Apple TV+ Series From Gordon Ramsay Premieres Next Month

A new series hailing from celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is set to premiere on Apple TV+ globally on Friday, October 10, according to Apple.

Apple TV Knife Edge
The eight-episode documentary Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars follows elite chefs at some of the world's most celebrated restaurants, as they seek to win or maintain Michelin stars, the world's most prestigious culinary award.

Apple shared a trailer for the series today:

The series explores the high-stakes world of fine dining, in major cities such as Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Copenhagen. Apple says it will include on-the-record interviews with some of Michelin's anonymous inspectors.

The show is hosted by award-winning food and travel expert, Jesse Burgess, and Ramsay serves as an executive producer. Ramsay is well known for his hit culinary shows like Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, MasterChef, and Hotel Hell.

"As a chef, the pursuit of perfection is everything, and you cannot underestimate the unbelievable drive and ambition, the determination and sacrifice these chefs are going through day in and day out, chasing the dream of acknowledgment from the Michelin Guide," said Ramsay, in Apple's press release announcing the series earlier this year.

I hope it won’t be nearly as fake as his other shows.

Did any of you read the article or watch the trailer? Ramsay isn't even in the show, he's just an EP.
if people read the article they wouldn’t be able to post their stupid takes faster than someone else’s stupid takes, and we can’t have that!

Dislike Gordon Ramsay, he's so overrated and basically a media figure more than a chef these days – that's where the fecking big money is(!), as for sure it's not in restaurants, unless you're paid decent licensing money as the 'brand chef' on hotel restaurants in major cities like London/NYC/etc, while another lesser known head chef does the graft.

Wonder if this will pass the censor checks

Hopefully this is legit and not Kitchen Nightmares nonsense.

I don't mind Gordon Ramsay but dang, he literally has a show on at every point in a given year, sometimes 2 of them overlap!

Yeah, hard pass for me personally. The expiry date for Ramsay's standard offering of swearing and bleeps was about 10 years ago, and now I feel it's the only TV dish he knows.

Between Masterchef and The Fattest Loser on at opposing times of the year, it's no wonder people's waistlines are bobbing up and down like yo-yo's 😁

We need actually better series that don't rely on known names. This is ATV+'s mistake... they think that by getting some A or B-listers it will automatically make things worth watching.

Yet another boring kitchen Gordon Ramsey show.
Pay attention, people. As stated in the article, It’s hosted by Jesse Burgess. Ramsay is just producing it. In the trailer it appears to be a more serious documentary which also lifts the veil somewhat for the first time on the Michelin Inspectors and seems to interview them anonymously for how their process works. Actually looks interesting and unlike anything else I’ve seen relating to cooking on TV, and Ramsay is nowhere to be seen in the trailer.
