We're at the point where Apple really should consider decoupling all of their app updates from software updates. Hope this happens in OS27 across the board.

I have an M2 from launch day and when I open safari by clicking its icon sometimes it doesn't appear and is a pain to get to appear after recentering a bunch of times, Hulu suddenly doesn't play in safari at all for a few months now, Netflix frequently doesn't play or suddenly stops playing and goes to a black screen in safari unless I force quit all apps or restart. Disney suddenly doesn't play movies unless I force quit all apps or restart, My widgets sometimes disappear entirely or become detached from walls or pop through into environments and block the content I'm watching. AirPods sometimes just don't want to connect at all, especially AirPods Pro 2. Sometimes in the last month or so the light that the movie screen casts onto the floor or ground in apple cinema or environments is super bright blown out light and I have to restart to get that back to normal. The one thing that was a problem that feels fixed lately is eye tracking is radically better than it was.

Completely agree, especially for Safari.
