Apple Releases Second watchOS 26.5, tvOS 26.5 and visionOS 26.5 Betas

Apple today provided developers with the second betas of upcoming watchOS 26.5, tvOS 26.5, and visionOS 26.5 betas for testing purposes. The software comes two weeks after Apple released the first betas for each platform.

The software updates are available through the Settings app on each device, and because these are developer betas, a free developer account is required.

There's no word on what's in the software as of yet. watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS often get few features in each new beta, with updates primarily focusing on bug fixes and performance improvements. Nothing new was found in the first betas.

I use the Apple Vision Pro nearly every day, and it’s a lot of fun. Office apps are available, and Safari works well—although Chrome would be even better. ChatGPT is available, but Grok is not. Voice recognition is excellent, and I’m still finding ways to use it more effectively. Watching videos is better than ever before. The immersive experience even improves my productivity.

I own a Vision Pro and unfortunately, the platform is dead. The team who works on visionOS must feel like they doomed to a project nobody cares about. 🙈😂
I have the Vision Pro (gen 2) and it’s not dead. Wish there were more apps for it, but hopefully more will come. It truly is amazing. Would love to have MLB where it feels like you’re in the stadium. MLB, come on. Make it happen! You can do the same for the NFL. It would be amazing!
