Update Your iPhone Now: iOS 26.5.1 Includes an Important Fix
If you own one of Apple's latest iPhone models, an iOS update is available with an important fix.

According to Apple's release notes for iOS 26.5.1, the update addresses an issue that prevents wired charging from working on some iPhone 17e, iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air units after the device has shut off.
Given this issue could prevent you from turning your iPhone back on, we highly recommend installing iOS 26.5.1 as soon as possible. To do so, open the Settings app, tap on General → Software Update, and follow the on-screen steps.
iOS 26.5.1 is not available on any other iPhone models.
