This is literally the worst way to spend membership rewards points. 1 pt = $0.70

I regularly transfer my Amex points to partner airlines like Air France KLM to score direct Europe-California business/first class flights for only 60k. Comes with legit premium lounge access, too. Those flights usually go for $6000.

That’s 10 cpp vs this Apple Pay redemption rate of 0.7 cpp!

You do have to hunt/plan around those rare points deals, but hasn’t been an issue for me.

Yeah, this is the right way to leverage points.

This conversion for Apple Pay is absolutely terrible.

Having more features integrated in Apple Wallet is cool. Meanwhile Discover removed the feature to show balances and stuff in Wallet earlier this month. A downgrade in user experience.
Haven’t had a discover card since 1993, when I got my AMEX card haha.
