Apple's new Apple Watch models will feature upgrades to fitness tracking, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, who otherwise characterized this year's changes to the lineup as "minor."
Gurman said much the same in July, pointing to faster performance and better health and fitness tracking in the absence of any design overhaul.
I would even argue that the last major update was the Series 4 when it got the new rounded display, everything after that was just product maintenance.
It’s been minor updates since, what, the series 7?
No surprise I guess, but more reason not to upgrade.
And the extra battery life reported is really only that Apple changed how they calculate battery life. There's no significant difference in real-world use between the two ( I have a 10, my wife has an 11 - they are the same device, except my wife liked the "space gray" finish, so it had to be an 11 for her).
Just compare Series 11 with Series 10. It's basically the exact same device (just a little bit longer battery life) 😂
