Mac Studio With M5 Ultra Chip and 512GB of RAM Launching in October
Apple today unveiled new Mac Studio models with M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips. Pre-orders began today ahead of a September 22 launch, but one configuration will not be available until later.
Apple says the Mac Studio with the M5 Ultra chip and 512GB of RAM will be coming in "late October," with U.S. pricing expected to start well above the $10,000 mark. Apple stopped offering the previous-generation Mac Studio with 512GB of RAM in March due to the ongoing memory chip shortage, but it appears that the upgrade option will return for the new model in two months from now.
