NetShare Officially Rejected from App Store

by

Though we saw it coming, Nullriver has confirmed that their tethering application NetShare will not be returning to the App Store.

Looks like Apple has decided they will not be allowing any tethering applications in the AppStore. As such, NetShare will not be available in the iTunes AppStore.

NetShare was briefly available in the App Store and allowed iPhone users to share their iPhone's EDGE or 3G mobile connection with their laptops over Wi-Fi.

Several readers were able to purchase the app before its removal. Those individuals are still able to use the copy of NetShare that they purchased.
