750GX up to 1.3GHz?

Xes-inc is advertising a product called XCalibur1100 which claims to use Single or Dual 1.3GHz 750GX PowerPC processors at 1.3GHz.

The 750GX is the successor to the 750FX which is current used in Apple's iBooks. Much of the information available on the upcoming proecssor is available from this IBM newsletter. According to that document, the 750GX will reach speeds of (only) 1.1GHz by the end of this year.

More information is unavailable at this time. According to a PowerPC 750 FAQ, "documentation on the 750GX is restricted until the part becomes generally available later this year."

A few discrepancies on Xes-inc's pages make the claims uncertain. Xes documents a 512k L2 Cache on the 750GX, contrary to IBM's reports of 1MB L2 Cache. Also, the block diagram shows 750FX processors -- not 750GX's.
