Readers have started receiving shipping notices for Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther).
Mac OS X 10.3 retail boxes are shipping from Apple's Online Store and may start arriving to end-users earlier than the official October 24th Release Event.
Distribution channels also started shipping Panther to Apple Stores and Resellers starting on Monday to provide stock for the Friday release. Apple's Night of the Panther release party takes place on October 24th at 8 p.m. at local Apple Stores and certain resellers.
Reports hint that Apple is going "all out" for the Panther Apple Store events.
Last year, Apple launched CarPlay Ultra, the long-awaited next-generation version of its CarPlay software system for vehicles. Nearly a year later, CarPlay Ultra is still limited to Aston Martin's latest luxury vehicles, but that should change fairly soon.
