Announced in London today, an abridged release of the European iTunes Music Store is now available in the UK, France & Germany, with plans to open to the rest of Europe in October of this year. Using the already released iTunes 4.6 in localized versions for the UK, France and Germany users can download from the same 700,000+ song catalog available in the United States at prices of 0.99 and 0.79. Release of the iTMS in Europe was previously reported.
