Kuo: Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Apple Watch SE 3 to Launch Next Year

Apple supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo today predicted that an Apple Watch Ultra 3 and an Apple Watch SE 3 will be released in 2025.

Nearly a year ago, Kuo predicted that there might not be an Apple Watch Ultra 3 this year, and that prediction appears to be accurate. The only new Apple Watch announced during Apple's event yesterday was the Apple Watch Series 10, while the Apple Watch Ultra 2 received a Satin Black color option and the Apple Watch SE was not updated.

All in all, it looks like customers will have to wait until next September for the next-generation Apple Watch Ultra and Apple Watch SE models.

Ah, such fun comments already!

Let's go back to the comments section on Kuo saying there might not be an Apple Watch Ultra 3 this year, all the way back in October 2023.

One of the first comments: "Kuo is getting bored. There will definitely be a new Ultra every year there will be a regular Apple Watch."

Kuo can't win on these forums.

At this point Ming-Chi has to be on the payroll at MacRumors. This person could sneeze and it’s reported here.

I love you guys over at MacRumors. But 99% of what this person says is common sense. We know.

My major disappointment from yesterday.

I have an Ultra (1). The Ultra 2 didn't seem that compelling an upgrade, but I was hoping for minor things with an Ultra 3. Now I have to wait another year.

The dark Ultra 2 does look awesome but I can't "upgrade" to the same watch, just darker :(

The product releases have become unbelievably underwhelming

Hanging by a thread with baited breath for whatever Apple might "Cook up" has long stopped being worth the energy

It's really sad. The presentations and the products are so stale and lacking in innovation and the push forward now.
