Apple is preparing to release what is likely to be its next product this year: a new pair of over-ear headphones from its Beats brand.

FC Barcelona and Spain soccer star Lamine Yamal was spotted wearing unreleased Beats in a series of photos he shared on Instagram last month. The over-ear headphones have a unique design with some similarities to AirPods Max, including telescoping headband arms that would smoothly extend and stay in place to maintain the desired fit.
The headphones in the photos had a bright pink finish, a Beats logo on each ear cup, and what appears to be a USB-C port for charging.

Earlier this month, Yamal shared another photo showing the unreleased Beats in cream or ivory, suggesting there will be multiple color options.

And just a few days ago, Fulham FC and U.S. soccer star Antonee Robinson was spotted wearing a two-tone version of the new Beats with a white headband and blue ear cups.

It is common for athletes and celebrities to be spotted wearing upcoming Beats headphones in the weeks leading up to a launch, as a marketing stunt.
It is unclear if these will be next-generation Beats Studio Pro or something else. Apple introduced the current Studio Pro headphones in July 2023.
Instagram is not the only place where these headphones were spotted, as FCC documents previously revealed unreleased Apple headphones with the model number A3577. It is very likely the filing is for the headphones worn by Yamal and Robinson.

An exact release date is not yet known, but given the Instagram photos and FCC documents, the new Beats will likely launch within the next few months.
