they don't fit my ears, Tim create Apple Ears Pro so I can replace my ears with perfect Apple designed ears

I wonder if they’ll fit me, I hear people say the fit is worse.

The 1st/2nd gen work for me but slightly slide to where it affects the noise cancellation, luckily they don’t fall off.
It really just depends on your ears. I'm not sure how much of it is the shape or the stiffer ear tips, but the third generation fits my ears noticeably better and I had the exact same 'slight sliding' issue you described with the second generation, for what that's worth. It's almost as though Apple 'split the difference' as much as possible across all types with the first and second generations and got a 'good enough' fit for most people, then leaned into this specific shape with the third generation and got an excellent fit for some, and a terrible fit for others.

I should have stuck with the gen 2. There’s a reason they keep lowering the price. Not nearly as good
I respectfully disagree. I have found them better than gen 2 in every way.

This is certainly a good price considering the increased cost of various tech gear currently.

In a stroke of genius, Apple removes the headphone jack, successfully defends against those who preferred wired audio quality and creates AirPods.

What's genius is the $20+ billion business AirPods have become.

In an amazing demonstration of managing the narrative, rarely is their conversation of these disposable devices massive contribution to the land fill.

I bought an open box pair for around $100 to give them a try and was pleasantly surprised at the fit as well as the NC. I found them comfortable and staying put once I figured out how to put them on properly. YMMV.

And the fact that these have better noise cancellation makes it tempting
I was quite impressed with the noise cancelling. I've used various Bose and Sennheiser cans and they were great on long flights, my limited testing shows the AirPods on par with them; at least when cutting grass or running a vacuum or rental carpet cleaner.
